Description

As many people have asked us to do, we are publishing a filing program on an Excel spreadsheet in order to avoid doing the filing on paper by hand.

This program allows you to encode the names of the starting riders, the green and red jersey points, the times (to be encoded in seconds, e.g. 1minute 20 = 80 seconds),...

It allows you to redo all the calculations, depending on the stage completed, of all the various rankings in a single click. This is very practical.

How to use it :

To start with, go to the first tab "Team": All teams of a season are encoded (see picture 1). This is updated every year on the site. There is nothing to stop you from putting in other names.

  1. Go to the "step 1" tab (image 2)
  2. Click on 'set to 0' first. (image 3) Very important
  3. Click on Tour de France 1969 to enter the name of the event. (image 3)
  4. Click on the 3 (number of steps) at the top left. (image 3)
  5. Click on the 3 (number of riders per team). (image 3)
  6. Click on 12, for the number of starters if you are 4 managers. (image 3)

We arrive on a page of deviation according to the profile. (image 4)

Put an x in the box corresponding to the three steps. (image 5)

A page appears. (image 6)

Click on the rectangle on the left (below 3 riders). The drop-down list appears. Click on the team you choose: for example, the Lotto-Jumbo team (image 7)

Click on the column next to it (image 8) and do the same with the drop-down menu to choose the three riders you want in your team. (image 9)

The same goes for the other three teams in the rectangles below. (image 10)

Once finished, go back to the tab "Stage 1" (image 11). On the left side you can see the names of the riders chosen with the team name. All rankings are at zero.

You are ready for the first step.

As an example, here is the result that can be obtained after one step :

  1. Groenewegen
  2. Sagan à 0 sec
  3. Impey
  4. Bernal à 10 sec
  5. Froome
  6. Yates
  7. Kruiswijk
  8. Formolo
  9. Kwiatowsky
  10. Gatto
  11. De Plus à 1’50

Retirement: Durbridge at 1'20

The results are encoded in seconds (1'20 = 80 seconds) (image 12). The general ranking is displayed in minutes and seconds

In the case of abandonment like Durbridge, a capital A is used instead of the time (image12).

The green dots are encoded in the first 5 in the example. If necessary, do the same for the red polka dot jersey (image 13).

Once everything is encoded, you click on the red button (image 14), and all the rankings are put in order. (image15)

To see the average of the stage, count the number of squares covered. For example 67, mark it and the number of moves (14 moves = 140 km) which gives an average of 47.9 km/h (image 16)

Depending on the profile, the delay is indicated in the red box (2'59 in the example) (image 17)

And here is the second step

Click on the "Step 2" tab (image 18)

Then encodes the result as shown above.

Then press the red button.

And here is the last one (3rd step) (image19)

At the end of the three steps as in this example, the final results are displayed after the encoding of the 3rd step (image19)

To see all the points generated by each team during the event, go to the "3and" tab (on the bottom right of the screen). Click on the tab and you will be taken to the table (image20)

All you have to do is take a screenshot and print it or save it in a folder.

Warning, never rename the programme! Always open a folder in which you save it.

This programme is valid for a maximum of 21 stages. It is also planned to have 4 riders per team if necessary..
